Our Team

Dr. Taher Dhoon was born in Utah, where he learned to love the outdoors. He later moved to California, receiving his BA in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, random seating placed him next to another aspiring dentist, named Bridget, who would later become his wife. 

Since graduating, he has earned a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, has qualified for another Fellowship through the Academy of General Dentistry, and has traveled all over the country to learn and perfect the most complex techniques available in modern dentistry. Dr. Dhoon has also traveled to the Dominican Republic two separate times to perform implant surgeries and complex bone grafting procedures for the locals in those less fortunate communities.

He has also completed training and become licensed to provide oral sedation for his patients. This has helped him improve the dental health of his patients who were once too anxious or fearful to visit the dentist. Appointments with sedation are easy and stress-free. Patients find they are finally able to relax and receive the dental treatment that they have put off for so many years. His relentless dedication to continuing education enables him to provide his patients with the finest treatments available. 

Dr. Dhoon married his dental school sweetheart and they recently welcomed their first son, Connor, into the world. You might say that Dr. Dhoon is excited about having a son and has big plans! Dr. Dhoon eventually plans to buy an old 70s Chevy to rebuild with his son and then hand the keys over to him for his sixteenth birthday. Connor is only four months old, but it is fun to plan future projects together!

Dr. Dhoon and Bridget also have a golden retriever named West and a rescue poodle-shitzu named Jordy. Together, Dr. Dhoon and his family enjoy exploring all the hidden secrets Colorado has to offer, staying active, and spending time with friends & family. 

Hi! My name is Tara, and I am one of Dr. Dhoon's dental assistants. 

I grew up in South Dakota and moved to Greeley 12 years ago. I am a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor's degree in public health. 

I have been with Dr. Dhoon's team for about seven years and worked as an oral surgery assistant for one year. I enjoy working with patients and helping them with all their dental needs. I particularly value educating people about their dental health, and I love seeing our patients' smiles and lives being transformed by our exceptional efforts. 

In my spare time, I enjoy working out, reading, spending time with loved ones, and being outdoors. 

Hello, my name is Jan. I am the receptionist and business manager for Dr. Dhoon's dental team. I am a Colorado native and grew up in Fort Collins, but I have lived in Greeley since graduating from UNC in 1975. My husband, Darrel, and I raised our son here and operated several TCBY franchises along the Front Range. 

I've always enjoyed meeting people and making a difference in their day. Making them smile was easy with TCBY. Now I enjoy working with our very talented team, helping patients experience and understand how outstanding dental care will make a difference in their overall health and daily living. 

I love living in Colorado, enjoying the blue skies, sunshine, mountains, and four seasons. Golf is my lifetime sport, and being with my grandchildren is what makes me happy! 

My name is Rose. I am your patient care coordinator. My family moved from Texas when I was 7, and I graduated from Limon Public High School in 2003. After high school, I graduated from UNC with my bachelor's degree in business marketing in 2006. 

I have always enjoyed making a difference in people's lives and exceeding their expectations. I have been a part of Dr. Dhoon's fantastic team since August 2015.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, family, and friends. Colorado is a fantastic place to call home, and I love to seek out new and fun adventures here.

Hi! My name is Cathy, and I am one of Dr. Dhoon's dental hygienists. I grew up in New Mexico (the home of the chili pepper) and graduated from the University of New Mexico (go Lobos!) with a degree in dental hygiene. After working for a year, I took a 16-year break to serve with Campus Crusade for Christ. I have been with Dr. Dhoon since January of 1996. 

The thing I like best about my position is serving the patients, helping them see the dental needs they have, and helping them achieve optimum health in their mouth.

In my spare time, I enjoy being a host family and spending time with international students, quilting, and attending sporting events with my husband, Alan.

Hi, my name is Diane. I am a Greeley native and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor's degree in business education. 

In May 1997, I joined Dr. Dhoon's practice as the receptionist, bringing with me twenty years of customer service experience from banking, education, and home medical equipment sales.

My focus is on changing people's lives and making the patient experience positive by providing support to the front office, marketing, and helping Dr. Dhoon in the day-to-day operations of the dental office.

After raising three sons, I am now blessed with daughters-in-law and grandchildren. 

Collecting bears is my hobby. I enjoy spending time with my husband experiencing the outdoors, attending sporting events, and traveling.

My name is Tara, and I have been assisting with dental care at Dr. Dhoon's office since October 2007. I've been a certified dental assistant for 20 years, and I have worked as an expanded duties dental assistant for 15 years. 

I am raising three teenagers, and we enjoy the Colorado outdoors.

I grew up in Greeley and graduated from Greeley West. I attended UNC for two years and went to school for dental assisting in LIncoln, Nebraska.

Hello! My name is Frances, and I work as one of Dr. Dhoon's hygienists. I really enjoy meeting new people and helping them have better health through meeting their dental needs. 

I am a 1989 graduate from the University of Colorado Health Science Center. In my off time, you can find me quilting, reading, or spending time outdoors with my family.
